The slide you want, on your phone, in one tap.

SnapX instantly grabs a high-resolution capture of the presenter's screen from your seat. No photos of projectors. No waiting for the deck to be emailed.

SNAP

How it works

Three steps, no accounts, nothing to configure in the room.

1

The presenter shows a QR code

The SnapX Presenter app runs on the laptop that drives the projector. It puts a QR code and a six-letter session code on screen for a moment.

2

You scan it once

Point the SnapX app at the code, or type the session code if you are at the back. You are joined for the whole talk.

3

Tap Snap whenever you like

Each tap takes a fresh capture of the presenter's display at its native resolution and sends it to your phone in about a second.

For attendees

  • Full-resolution captures, not a photo of a glowing rectangle
  • Keeps every snap in a gallery, grouped by session
  • Save to Photos, share, or auto-save every snap
  • Rejoin recent sessions without rescanning
  • Works on cellular when the presenter uses a relay

For presenters

  • Choose which display to share on multi-monitor setups
  • Hundreds of taps at once share a single screenshot
  • Same-Wi-Fi mode needs no server at all
  • Remote relay mode for venues with isolated Wi-Fi
  • Sessions survive a dropped connection for five minutes
  • Serves captures from the menu bar while you present

Where your captures go

Only where you point them. SnapX has no accounts and no cloud storage.

Same Wi-Fi

The presenter app runs a tiny relay on the laptop. Captures travel straight from the laptop to your phone and never leave the room.

Remote relay

When attendees cannot reach the laptop, the presenter points SnapX at a relay they host. The relay forwards frames without decoding or storing images.

Open source

Every component, including the relay, is MIT-licensed on GitHub. Run your own relay with one command or a container.

Download

Attendees need the mobile app. Presenters need the desktop app on the machine driving the screen.
